NSS Legacy Fund Launches to Support Growth and Accessibility of Soccer Across the State

Omaha, NE – [April 7, 2025] – Nebraska State Soccer proudly announces its official formation of the NSS Legacy Fund dedicated to advancing soccer opportunities across the state. Through fundraising efforts, the Legacy Fund will provide scholarships, grants for membership programs, soccer fields and equipment, and oversee the continuation of the Nebraska State Soccer Hall of Fame events.

With a mission to make soccer accessible to players of all ages, backgrounds, and locations, the NSS Legacy Fund will offer financial aid to aspiring athletes, assist communities in developing and improving soccer facilities, and recognize outstanding individuals who have contributed to the sport’s growth in Nebraska.

“Above all, Nebraska State Soccer’s goal is to provide opportunities for everyone in our state to love the game of soccer and become lifelong fans,” said Executive Director, Casey Mann. “As these existing programs continue to grow, we are excited to create a specific fund to celebrate and improve ways to support our soccer community.”

Through strategic partnerships and donor support, the Legacy Fund will award annual scholarships, provide grants for under-resourced soccer programs, and fund the improvement and maintenance of fields statewide. Additionally, the Nebraska State Soccer Hall of Fame will continue to host an annual dinner to honor those who have made significant contributions to the sport, preserving the rich history and legacy of soccer in Nebraska.
